María Cle Leal

A fashion designer, she studied at the Instituto Europeo di Design (Madrid) with the aim of creating and then marketing her creations in limited editions, together with her partner Patricia Blázquez. Several awards acknowledge her short, but successful career: Best Young Basque Designer (Bilbao), Best Young Spanish Designer (Madrid), Best Young Businesswoman (Vitoria), Innovation Award thanks to the opening of her workshop and showroom “Tissue” (Vitoria-Gasteiz). Fashion shows like “Modorra” or “El Ego de Cibeles” have been a showcase for her collections. Illustration plays a major role in her collections. The designer imagines and design drafts that will then be screen printed on various fabrics with different texture. Curious, enterprising, enthusiastic and always determined to try a constant innovation, she finds illustration as an expressive and fascinating way for her interpretations and world interaction.
