Mauro Entrialgo

(Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, 1965)

He has drawn and written comic strips for newspapers (El País, Diario 16, Diario Vasco, Gaceta del Norte, Público…), magazines (El Víbora, Makoki, El gran musical, Playboy, Primera Línea, Cinemanía…) and websites. He has published over thirty books via internet. He was one the founders and is still on the managing board of the magazine TMEO. He has maintained his own page in the weekly magazine El Jueves for more than ten years. Apart from illustrating all kind of publications, as an artist he has designed animation spots, dozens of posters, about thirty CD cases and all types of printed articles. As a screenwriter, he has written short stories for other artists, cartoons, theatre, television and cinema. He has also collaborated as a commentator on such topics as folklore, consumption and social issues on radio and TV, has developed projects related to contemporary art (facilities, videogames and video creations), and has been a guitarist and composer in folk groups with whom he has recorded CDs and soundtracks. In 2005 he started a blog called “Lo que hago y lo que me hacen” in his own website, www.mauroentrialgo.com, centre of an intense and vast activity in the web.
