Raúl Arias

He started as an audiovisual cartoonist, an activity that he combined with works for publishing companies and advertising agencies. After a period as a professor of animation, he starts illustrating the comic strip “Bernardo y Plonk” for the newspaper El País, where he would eventually publish “Memorias de Gus”. At the same time he also publishes illustrations in El Mundo, which has awarded him different prizes of the Society of Newspaper design (SND) and the Society of Public Design (SPD). He has published in Reader’s Digest, The New York Times and The Washington Post. Currently he combines his activity as illustrator with his work as an audiovisual media and multimedia creative.
